| POSITION:
Grotta della Ficarella (Ficarella Cave), is at 14 metres
under the sea level and next to a superficial source of fresh water.
The Cave has an asymmetric opening.
The left face is almost vertical, the right one goes down towards
the seabed.
The Inside part of the cave presents a first room marked by a very
big rock: with above a big spur that comes down from the vault;
the room is so large that 5 scuba divers can cross at the same time.
Next the rock, the vault became bigger and bigger creating a large
tunnel that arrives to the surface level in a big room where is
possible to get out the scuba and admire the wonderful stalactites.
